Afallon's Vision Statement

(pictured below as a two year old)

born 2011 by Arawa Tane Mahuta (exp Australia) x Merrileigh Sweet Dreams

Vision like his half brother Royal has an exceptionally kind temperament.  Vision has inherited his sires impressive elevation and extension which along with his overall type and well balanced conformation gives him exciting potential as a future breeding stallion.

He also demonstrates a natural talent for jumping negotiating logs and banks in his paddock with ease and evident enjoyment.

Vision has bred his first mares this season.  We eagerly anticipate their arrival late 2014.

We look forward to his future here at Afallon.

Afallon's Royal Sensation

(pictured below as a three year old)

born 2010 by Lorien Aragorn out of Merrileigh Sweet Dreams

Royal is an impressive young colt with lovely balanced movement, tonnes of presence and style, and a delightfully kind and easy temperament.  Royal has been bred to his first mare Afallon's Rhapsody in Gold (due October 2014).

In July 2014 we were approached by someone looking for a pony to bring on for competitive harness work.

Royal met their specific requirements.

Initially it was difficult to even consider letting him go especially so as it would necessitate having him gelded.

However he was being offered  an excellent home in very experienced hands and an exciting opportunity for a future as a performance pony and after much soul searching we agreed to sell him to Christine.

Royal's daughter Afallon's Royal Arabesque out of Afallon's Rhapsody in Gold (born 30.09.2014)

is a real beauty and a great treasure to us. She will be retained here at Afallon.

Afallon Legacy of Gold

(pictured below at fourteen months)

born 2012 by Arawa Tane Mahuta (exp Australia) x Nanteos Sweet Sensation

Legacy  is a big, well built quality colt with his sire's bold, extravagant movement.

Full brother to our beautiful filly Afallon's Rhapsody in Gold and Sweet's only Afallon-bred son,

our plans were to retain Legacy at Afallon as a future breeding stallion.

However plans do not always come to fruition and circumstances often dictate change.

In June 2014 Legacy also left Afallon and has gone to a lovely family home where he has been gelded

and is being prepared for a future as a ridden pony.
